So, how do you use the TV Effects plugin?
Let's walk through it.
Here's the interface:
Preview buttons: Adjust the preview zoom. If after zooming you cannot see entire image, you can click and drag in the preview window.
Filtering checkbox: Click this on and off to see the image with and without filtering.
Preview window: See the effects you are creating. Note that line effects can appear distorted at anything but 1:1 zoom factor. Default zoom level shows entire image.
Reset: Sets all sliders back to zero.
Line Width: Sets the width of the scanlines. Proper setting will depend on image size. The effect of this slider is not visible if Contrast slider is set to zero.
Contrast: Controls the difference in contrast between alternating lines. High settings tend to wash out bright colors.
Static: Creates static. When working with black and white images, it is sometimes better to use PhotoShop's Noise filter.
Ghost Right: Creates an inverse image to the right of the actual image. Slider controls offset only. There is no control for intensity of the effect.
Ghost Down: Similar to above.
